Montana Dan - MTD

As an Artist I find that reflections of your inner self
can be explored by painting. I have always used what I like
to call my inner guide when I pick up a brush and put it to canvas.

I never know ahead of time what the end result will be,
and for me, that is what expression is all about.
For me, Art is the True Escape.

I paint landscapes, each one reflects an Escape. I find it interesting
to know that these landscapes, or mindscapes if you will,
are not true places I have seen first hand but come to life as
I see them in my mind, or in myself.

All of my Paintings are a Reflection from within.
As I paint I become an Escape Artist.

To begin with the creation of one of my Paintings, it is important to understand
that each Painting is created in my mind first.

My style or technique to work on each artistic project,
takes conciderable time and effort.

The inspiration process comes from within,
and is an ever changing and moving feeling or desire
to select an idea, and to create an Escape not from,
but to a reality in consciousness.

I dedicate the time and labor required, to create each piece of Art,
and in doing so, I bring meaning and purpose to
each induvidual stroke of the brush, and a Reality in awareness to the Canvas.

Each Painting Captures an Inner Reflection, and a Uniqueness in Design and Inspiration.
